Gaming start-up logs on at Bruntwood Manchester scheme
Manchester-based gaming start-up ForthStar has set up its headquarters at Foundation in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
The new 75,000 sq ft workspace and leisure destination has been developed by Bruntwood and Trafford Council. According to Radius, asking rents in the building are quoted at around £25 per sq ft.
Bruntwood has also handled the fit out of a 6,396 sq ft suite for the firm behind the Golf Clash mobile game as it relocates from the neighbouring Station House, also operated by Bruntwood.

The firm joins a business community that includes sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE, leisure operator Lane7, coffee shop Starbucks, and restaurants Yum Cha and Nell’s, both of which will open later this year.
Sharon Johnson, head of commercial at Bruntwood, said: “The redevelopment of Foundation is just the latest step in our journey to transform Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter, working alongside Trafford Council to improve and enhance the opportunities for local people to live, work and play here.
“It is clear that there is a demand for a workspace like this and we look forward to making further announcements on new customers in due course.”
