Cairn gets nod for latest phase of Seven Mills in Dublin

Cairn Homes has received planning permission for the next phase of Seven Mills, a major mixed-use development in Clonburris, Dublin 22. The latest phase includes 495 homes – 449 apartments and 46 duplex homes. They will be located on the Grand Canal between Lucan and Clondalkin in 11 blocks ranging from three to seven storeys.  The proposals include 403 parking spaces, with car-sharing and accessible spaces, motorcycle and bicycle parking, and electric vehicle charging points. They also include 27,000 sq ft of retail space, 50,000 sq ft of office space and a 5,000 sq ft crèche. Seven Mills will comprise 5,500 homes when complete, of which 2,000 have been granted planning permission by An Bord Pleanála. Image © 3D Design Bureau
