Bidwells hires head of operational living

Bidwells has hired operational living expert Iain Murray and his former Cortland Consult team. The move is a significant step towards capitalising on the growing operational living market, positioning Bidwells in the multidisciplinary advisory space within the living sector and harnessing cross-selling and capital markets opportunities. Murray was previously managing director of LIV Group, chief executive and owner of Principal Digital and director of PRS at Criterion Capital. At Cortland, Murray held the role of senior director of BTR consultancy for Europe at Cortland Consult. At Bidwells, he will be head of operational living. The acquisition fully integrates Murray’s client portfolio and team into Bidwells’ newly established operational living department. Murray said: “Joining Bidwells represents a great opportunity not just for growth but also for innovation in the operational living space. With Bidwells’ deep residential capability and my team’s market insight, we will create a unique offer within the sector.
