Bruntwood SciTech teams with Thermo Fisher to lift lab offering

Bruntwood SciTech and Thermo Fisher Scientific have agreed to collaborate to improve the co-working laboratory offering for life science start-ups across the UK.

The partnership will predominantly focus on the Alderley Park campus in Cheshire, which is home to more than 250 science and technology businesses. Thermo Fisher Scientific will provide Bruntwood SciTech occupiers that use the park’s Open Access Lab facilities with industry support and access to a wide range of Thermo Scientific equipment.

The Open Access Lab – a co-working laboratory and shared equipment space – is designed to support start-up life science companies by providing access to specialist lab equipment and bench space for businesses working in research and development. The addition of new equipment will help start-ups to carry out scientific work without upfront capital costs.
