The Earl of Cadogan has beaten the Duke of Westminster in the annual competition of “who can pay the most tax”.
The Tax List 2024, published by The Times, shows the Chelsea and Knightsbridge owner and his family paying £60m, up from last year’s £38.1m, to land in 20th position, up from 37th place.
The Grosvenor family paid £50.1m, achieving 23rd place, against last year’s £57.5m and 22nd place.
