Montreaux’s plans for the redevelopment of a former B&Q site in Cricklewood, NW2, have been approved by ministers.
The 6.8-acre scheme, which sought the development of 1,046 homes in a series of buildings ranging from three to 18 storeys, was submitted to Barnet Council but called in by the secretary of state last August.
The outline planning application was subject to a planning inspection and public inquiry in February this year. The inspector’s report landed on Michael Gove’s desk in June.
