People moves: Chancerygate appoints ESG director

This week’s appointments and promotions Chancerygate has appointed Cathy Myatt (pictured, left) as director of ESG. She joins from Willmott Dixon and has nearly 30 years of expertise delivering sustainable solutions in both the public and private sectors.  Savills has appointed Mike Wilson (pictured, centre) as associate director of its eastern region industrial agency team.  Jamie Robertson (pictured, right) has joined Gibson Kerr as a legal director in its residential conveyancing team in Edinburgh.  Lovell Partnerships has hired Naz Singh as health, safety and environment manager and Catherine Galley as trainee sales executive. Muse’s Midlands team has appointed Basit Ali as development director, Sharne Sahajpal as development manager, Iona MacRury as marketing and communications manager, and Rachel Conway as PA and office manager. Knight Frank has appointed Richard Proctor as head of UK occupier strategy and solutions, supported by partner Julian Woolgar. Partner Amanda Lim will be charged with expanding the flexible office solutions London business across the UK. James Nicholson has been promoted to head of operations for UK occupier strategy and solutions, while Sean Fraser and Inesha Holt have joined the London tenant representation team as partners. Bruton Knowles has appointed Ed Vereker as head of national building consultancy in the South to increase its regional presence. SHW has appointed senior architects Scott Theobold in the building consultancy division and Joe Swift in the Hampshire office following its merger with WSW Consultancy. BNP Paribas Real Estate has hired James Barrett as national head of affordable housing. He joins from Lifestory Group, where he was senior land manager.   Louis Brewer has joined Boyer’s Wokingham office as a planner. Nick Preston, the former chief executive of Tritax Eurobox, has been hired to lead Panattoni Investment Management.  Michael Smith has been named chief executive of Hongkong Land, effective from 1 April 2024. He is currently regional chief executive for Europe and the US at Mapletree Investments.  CompassRock International has appointed Grace Morgan as a director. She joins from Integral, where she was divisional client sourcing lead. Myles White has joined Austria-headquartered investment and asset manager CC Real as managing partner. He joins from Nuveen, where he oversaw the management of around $15bn (£12bn) of retail sites in the UK, Western Europe, China and Australia. Moda Group has hired Craig Allden as head of leasing and David Sinclair as head of technology. Gabby Rhodes has been appointed PBSA brand experience lead and Tarry Depledge as ESG manager, while Luke Scott has joined as project director. Rob Seabrook has rejoined CBRE as an executive director, where he will be responsible for hotel asset sales in the UK, focusing on London. He was previously the head of EMEA hotel transactions at Cushman & Wakefield.  Newcore Capital has hired former Patrizia managing director Christine Milne as its finance director. Elliott Sparsis, UK manager at Convene, has become chief executive at Cavendish Venues.  Cushman & Wakefield has appointed James Yates as partner of its capital markets business in Yorkshire and the North East. He will be in charge of advising clients on the purchase and sale of commercial investments. Turley Ireland has appointed Rosemary Daly as a director in the Belfast planning team. In Dublin, Andrew Smith has been appointed as associate director for strategic communications, Catherine Norris as senior planner and Leo Kilkenny as assistant planner. Ryan Watt and Aoife Byrne have been appointed as assistant planners in the Northern Ireland team. Strutt & Parker has promoted Agne Karuzaite to head of sales in South Kensington. In the Chelsea office, Ed Boden has been appointed head of sales and Miles Baker assistant sales head. Avison Young has appointed Gavin Boruchowitz as a director in the UK place advisory team and Brian Kelly as principal and head of planning for Ireland.  Gleeds has appointed Salar Farzad as chief finance and operating officer.
