King Pins said it has also partnered with restaurants and street food brands to bring varied food and beverage offerings in its food kiosks, with live sport to be shown in the bar area.
The deal follows the opening of King Pins’ sister brand Roxy Ball Room at Manchester Arndale a few years ago, which offers ball games for adults, including six beer pong battle stations, ping pong tables, and two shuffleboard tables.
Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, joint asset manager of Manchester Arndale, said: “Leisure and entertainment operators are increasingly becoming key features of UK shopping destinations and are helping to draw in more visitors from a broader catchment group seeking social activities.
“The arrival of King Pins follows our strategy of creating a diverse tenant mix at Manchester Arndale where we look to combine brands across the retail, leisure, and F&B space to provide the best experience and choice for our customers.”
As well as Global Mutual, M&G Real Estate act as joint asset manager of Manchester Arndale.
Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners are the centre’s retained letting agents.
