LaSalle and Trilogy’s Republic innovation campus decision overturned
LaSalle Investment Management and Trilogy Real Estate have received planning approval on appeal for the 940,000 sq ft second phase of Republic, an innovation campus at East India Dock, E14.
The planning application was taken to appeal after Tower Hamlets Council refused permission in October 2022.
The second phase of Republic is set to create a “full-service” innovation campus, as well as a 716-bed purpose-built student accommodation scheme.

The planning application was taken to appeal after Tower Hamlets Council refused permission in October 2022.
The second phase of Republic is set to create a “full-service” innovation campus, as well as a 716-bed purpose-built student accommodation scheme.
It will also provide 150 homes in a 30-storey building, a 376,000 sq ft data centre, 64,000 sq ft studio workspace and 7,000 sq ft for community use.
Of the homes, 37.7% will be offered at affordable rent, out of which 66% will be socially rented.
