The first phase developments will target BREEAM Excellent and EPC A certificates.
Longfellow will expand the existing health, wellbeing, and food and beverage offerings, as well as adding shared meeting room, event and breakout spaces. The campus will be supported by Longfellow’s proprietary customer experience platform, Elevate.
Adam Sichol, co-founder and chief executive of Longfellow Real Estate Partners, said: “By bringing our expertise of developing and managing lab space, we are establishing a portfolio that will support research and development ecosystems across key UK markets.”
Longfellow has spearheaded the development of life science clusters throughout the US, with more than 16.5m sq ft located in key biotech markets, including Redwood LIFE in the San Francisco Bay Area and Triangle LIFE in the research triangle of North Carolina.
The scheme is expected to be completed in autumn 2024.
