Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake tee up UK sports bar launch
Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake are planning to open a sports and entertainment gastropub in St Andrews, Scotland, after agreeing a deal with a local cinema owner on a venue.
The duo has partnered with Nexus Luxury Collection on plans to open the second venue for their concept, called T-Squared Social, at the New Picture House Cinema on North Street. The partnership opened its first venue in New York last month.
The proposals will be subject to planning approval. Planned features include golf simulators, duckpin bowling lanes, dart lanes and large-format screens. If plans proceed, the venue would open in 2024.

The New Picture House cinema was built more than 90 years ago by local entrepreneurs and is a Historic Scotland Grade B listed property.
After undergoing extensive renovations to support the new offer, one of the screens will be retained for film screenings, live-to-cinema events and marquee TV programming.
Christopher Anand, chief executive and managing partner at Nexus Luxury Collection, said the team would work with the local planning board to “create something truly special in St Andrews”.
Woods said: “The idea for T-Squared Social came to us during a round of golf at Albany, our development in the Bahamas. Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favourite things and brings people together to just have a great time. We always knew we wanted to do something together, and Nexus gave us the platform to bring our idea to life in New York City and now St Andrews.”
Timberlake added: “I’ve come to St Andrews many times to play golf, including to compete in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
“I’m honoured to be able to invest in the town and bring our second T-Squared Social here. Our new venue is so much more than a typical sports bar experience – it’s a place you can go to be entertained without sacrificing quality or comfort.”
Savills acted for T-Squared Social’s stakeholders on the St Andrews deal as their retained property adviser, while the site owner was represented by Entertainment Solution Services.
