Grosvenor expands Hanover Green mandate in Belgravia
Grosvenor has appointed Hanover Green as sole agent for its retail and restaurant lettings and strategy across the south of Belgravia, SW1.
The move expands Hanover Green’s existing mandate for Motcomb Street in the north of Belgravia, which began at the end of 2022. The new remit covers parts of the estate including Elizabeth Street, Ebury Street and independent leisure hub Eccleston Yards.
Grosvenor said the move reflected a simplifying of its structure, under which it is moving to a sole-agency basis where possible.

Grosvenor said the move reflected a simplifying of its structure, under which it is moving to a sole-agency basis where possible.
The company previously had a joint-agency mandate for the south of Belgravia which included Hanover Green, Colliers and Bruce Gillingham Pollard. Colliers and Bruce Gillingham Pollard continue to work for Grosvenor elsewhere in Belgravia and Mayfair, the company said. Bruce Gillingham Pollard will remain as sole agent on Pimlico Road and Colliers acts across locations including Mount Street, North Audley Street and Duke Street. Savills and Davis Coffer Lyons will also be appointed on a project-by-project basis in the south of Belgravia.
Grosvenor agreed 54 lease renewals or regears across 152,000 sq ft in the first half of this year. This delivered rent of £15.5m at an average of 5% above December 2022 ERVs. New occupiers included health and fitness brand Psycle London at the Ice Factory development in Eccleston Yards, while existing occupier Bayley & Sage expanded into an extra unit for Abode, its homeware brand.
Jane Macdiarmid, Grosvenor’s Belgravia retail director, said Hanover Green was “instrumental in our rebranding of Motcomb Street earlier this year”. She added: “Belgravia’s strong market performance is testament to Grosvenor’s ongoing commitment to sustainable placemaking, strategic partnerships and wider community investments.”
