Addleshaw Goddard has appointed Caroline Pope (pictured, left) as a partner in its London construction and engineering team. She is chair of the Technology & Construction Solicitors’ Association.
John D Wood & Co has promoted James Waight (pictured, centre) to head of sales. Waight joined the business more than 11 years ago.
Irwin Mitchell has recruited Keith Davidson (pictured, right) as a partner in its planning and environment team. He was formerly environment commissioner for Greater Manchester and head of environment at Mills & Reeve.

Samantha Herod has been promoted to head of Octopus Real Estate’s development lending business and will oversee development transactions across the living sectors.
Adam Crickmore and Neil Ridley have joined Sterling Property Ventures as equity board directors.
Legal & General Capital has hired Steven Wright as portfolio director for housing from Fiera Real Estate. John Godfrey, L&G director of levelling up, has been appointed interim director of housing, placemaking and regeneration at the West Midlands Combined Authority.
Gerry Hughes has joined the board of Place Capital Group as a non-executive director. He was formerly chief executive at GVA and European chief executive at Avison Young.
Hollis has appointed Digby Flower, former UK chair of Cushman & Wakefield, interim chief executive. He will oversee the succession planning for founding directors John Woodman and Alex Brown as they step back from the day-to-day running of the business and will lead the search for a permanent chief executive.
Heritage property developer City & Country has promoted Kat Gawenda to site manager. She will be responsible for site management, including managing subcontractors and monitoring quality.
Longevity Partners has hired Caitriona Hunter as UK managing director and Kovilla Sooben Nagen as group finance director.
US-based Ardent Companies has appointed Sunny Lakhtaria as UK head of debt as it expands its platform into the UK. He joins from Urban Exposure, where he was a partner.
Sandyford Properties has appointed Ryan Randell as property finance assistant. He will support the production of financial information for the property management team.
McCarthy Stone has appointed Ciaran Aldridge as managing director for its Northern division. He joins from Aldi, where he was national property director.
London law firm Howard Kennedy has appointed Jason Tann as a partner in the real estate practice.
Avant Homes West Yorkshire has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Chris Penn and Mark Lyon as commercial director and commercial manager, respectively.
Gateley Vinden has strengthened its North West building consultancy team by appointing Tim Aitchison from Cushman & Wakefield and Gary Allen from CBRE as directors in its Manchester office.
Colliers’ London offices has hired Joseph Mishon as head of flex and managed solutions. He joins from office rental agency Kitt to spearhead a new advisory and transactional offering for landlords and occupiers.
Morgan Sindall has appointed Phil Mayall as managing director for Muse. He joined Muse in 2006 and is also director of the English Cities Fund.
Lesley McGowan has joined Rendall & Rittner’s senior leadership team as head of HR business partnering.
Knight Frank has expanded its super-prime lettings team with the appointment of Amy Pritchard as senior lettings negotiator for south-west London and the Home Counties, and partner Alice Freeman has joined the prime central London team.
AspinallVerdi has appointed Mathew Forster as head of UK land and development agency. He will establish a new office in Cambridgeshire and work across the Leeds, London, Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham sites.
Aitchison Raffety has appointed David West as area director for Manchester. He will lead the diversification and expansion of the group’s valuation offering in Manchester and the North.
Andy Gulliford, the former SEGRO chief operating officer, has joined Salmon Property as a consultant. He will support the senior management team with strategy, customer and stakeholder relationships and new business opportunities.
GCW has appointed Octavia Wyatt on a two-year graduate placement.
