IWG added more than 400 new locations globally in H1. In the UK, its most rapid growth is taking place in areas outside central London, including Hammersmith, Battersea, Ealing, Epping Forest, Finsbury Park, Teddington and Wandsworth.
IWG said the owners of 12 Hammersmith Grove would be investing in its platform, which provides partners with access to the company’s expertise, design and fit-out support, and sales and marketing capabilities.
WeWork’s rivals have been eyeing its portfolio for opportunities as its difficulties intensified over the summer.
It is understood that WeWork has not operated out of the Hammersmith location for around 18 months as part of its ongoing efforts to reorganise its portfolio.
