People moves: Knight Frank makes UK residential board appointment

Knight Frank has appointed partner Sarah May-Brown (pictured, left) to its UK residential board. She has worked in the company’s international residential sector and spent seven years working in the Gulf, where she established the Middle East private wealth team. Andrew Twagira (pictured, centre) has been promoted to head of lettings in the Aldgate office. He joined the business in 2018 as a lettings negotiator.
Harworth Group has appointed Andrew Pexton (pictured, right) as regional director for its North West region. He joins from JLL, where he was a senior director.
Sandra Ford has joined Marrons as planning director to support the firm’s expansion into Gloucestershire. She was previously head of development services at Tewkesbury Borough Council.

Real estate finance and investment house TAB has appointed Rikesh Saujani as investment director from Hervines Group, Jon Sturgess as sales development director from Livemore Capital and Matthew Hayes as head of finance from Shawbrook Bank.
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Dominic Bouvet as regional managing partner for London and the South East. He joined the firm five years ago to manage the expansion of its EMEA cross-border retail and leisure business. Bouvet takes on the new role alongside his leadership of the UK retail and leisure team.
Online property auction specialist Mark Jenkinson, part of the Eddisons group, has appointed James Vandenbrook as an associate director. He joins from chartered surveyor Barnsdales, where he was head of its auctions team for more than 10 years.
Steve Compton has joined Coventry-based Bromwich Hardy as a consultant in the property management team. He has 40 years of experience in property development and regeneration, from residential and commercial to retail and waterside developments.
Avison Young has hired Andy Ingram as director of the London markets team, specialising in occupier advisory. He previously worked at Anton Page.
John Sisk & Son has appointed Chris Cant as regional director in its UK North division to support the business’s growth in the fit-out sector.
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has boosted its real estate disputes team with the recruitment of William Scott as a partner based in the firm’s London office. He joins from Bates Wells.
Savills Earth has appointed Michael Blake as an associate director in its social value team to support clients in getting the most social value out of their projects and programmes. He designed and developed the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s social investment strategy while serving as the council’s head of social investment.
Industrials REIT has promoted managing director Julian Carey to chief executive, following the decision by company founder Paul Arenson to step away from the day-to-day running of the business. Carey joined Industrials REIT in July 2017 when it bought C2 Capital.
JLL’s Jeffrey Davis has joined Eastdil Secured as managing director, where he will lead and grow its hospitality group, focusing on the eastern US.
Richard Simpson has stepped down as chief executive of Watkin Jones. CIO Alex Pease will take on the role of interim chief executive while a successor is sought.
Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Andrea Penman to lead its UK asset services arm. She was most recently chief operating officer at CBRE’s UK property management business.
David Palfreman has joined Avant Homes East Midlands as head of customer service from Countryside Partnerships. Amy Crisp has joined as group head of customer services for its regional offices in Scotland, the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
Sovereign Housing Association has hired Joe Marshall as regional managing director for development in the South East. He will join in September from Peabody, where he led the association’s expansion outside of London into the Home Counties.
EPIC has hired Leigh Perl as chief operating officer. He has previously worked at Capital & Regional, Fairacre Properties and Haymarket Properties.
GCW has promoted Archie Morriss to director, Callum Stephenson to associate director and George Cook to senior surveyor in the owner team.
Alex Bramley has joined Castle Green Homes’ commercial team as a senior quantity surveyor, Glyn Saunders joins as a trainee quantity surveyor, and Megan Lewis as a junior quantity surveyor.
Jonathan Wood has joined Hawksmoor Property Services in Lichfield as strategic land and planning director, focusing on identifying and promoting strategic land opportunities.
