People moves: Bond Wolfe grows agency team

Appointments and promotions Bond Wolfe has appointed Garry Johnson (pictured, left) to its agency team. He previously worked for Avison Young in the restructuring team for four years. Knight Frank has appointed Josephine Jones as head of strategic capital to lead a newly created team within its capital advisory arm. Rob George (pictured, right) has joined the lease advisory team as an associate partner and Alan Sime has joined the Glasgow office as an associate. JLL has appointed UK chief executive Stephanie Hyde as the head of its markets advisory business for EMEA. She will take on the new role on 1 July. Hyde joined JLL in 2021 from PwC. Nisha Manaktala has joined Landsec to drive its digital strategy in the newly created role of chief data and technology officer. He joins from insurer Hiscox. António Simões has been appointed as Legal & General’s group chief executive. He joins from Banco Santander. BNP Paribas Real Estate has hired Tom Stanley as national head of development and planning. IMMO has hired Chris Chinaloy as chief growth officer to help drive institutional investment into the European private rented sector. He was previously chief strategy officer and head of capital markets at Round Hill. Apperly Estates has appointed Ed Dale-Jones as managing director. He has more than 15 years’ experience, most recently as a fund manager at CBRE Investment Management. Lovell Partnerships has hired Tracy Iles as head of sales and marketing for the North East. The Glasgow office of Avison Young has promoted Michael Facenna to director in the agency and transactions team, and Afton Montgomery to associate director in the building consultancy team. DWS has named Jessica Hardman as head of the UK. She will hold the new post in addition to her current role as head of European portfolio management and head of UK real estate group. Hardman will also become chief executive for DWS Investments UK and join the global and investment leadership teams. Mantas Storpirstis has joined Europa’s asset management team as a director. He formerly worked at RBC Capital Markets. Amirali Kasraie has joined as managing director of investment management, a newly created role. He joins from Swiss Life Asset Managers. Chancerygate has appointed Alastair King, head of development, and Eva Holden, general counsel, to its board of directors. Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Aric Asbridge to its logistics and industrial team, where he will be charged with the acquisition and disposal of logistics and industrial assets. He joins from Colliers. Canary Wharf Group has hired Liz Mason as its new director of planning. She joins from CBRE, where she was an executive director. Cheffins has hired Emma Healey as senior heritage planner from Barton Willmore. Mike Burr has joined Harris Lamb’s commercial agency department in its Stoke office as a surveyor. Avant Homes West Yorkshire has hired Richard Hosie as managing director to lead the region’s expansion strategy. In the East Midlands, Tony Clarke and Martyn Pask have been appointed as construction and technical directors respectively, and Nova Eames has been hired as sales and marketing director. Allsop has appointed Richard Brooke as a partner to lead its commercial investment business in the north of England. He joins the firm from Cushman & Wakefield. ESTAMA UK has hired James Nelson as a senior property management surveyor to its specialist property management team. He joins from JLL Australia. Matt Davidson, formerly of Avison Young, has joined Node Technologies as senior director of real estate. Amilcar Grot of Achmea Investment Management, Keith O’Donnell of ATOZ, and Jaap van der Bijl of Altera Vastgoed have joined INREV’s management board.
