People moves: Dandara hires new head of ESG
This week’s appointments and promotions
Lesley Treacy (pictured, left) has been hired by Dandara as its new head of ESG. She will create and implement a long-term sustainability strategy for the group, which includes its housebuilding arm and build-to-rent developer and operator business Dandara Living.
Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Neil McShane (pictured, centre) as its managing director in Northern Ireland. McShane will form part of a new management structure for the business which includes LSH’s chairman in Ireland Keith Shiells and head of property management Gary Nesbitt.
The Cardiff office of Lichfields has promoted Simon Coop (pictured, right) to senior director.

Turley has appointed Stephen Bell as its new chief executive. He will be responsible for its leadership team and strategy. He replaces Dave Trimingham, who becomes executive chair.
Hari Sothinathan has joined Deloitte’s real assets advisory team as a partner. He will provide strategic advice on largescale development and regeneration projects to both the public and private sectors. Sothinathan also holds a nonexecutive director position at Peabody.
Carter Jonas has appointed Colliers EMEA chief operating officer Richard Bruce as its new chief executive. He joins as an equity partner and will take over as CEO from September, replacing Mark Granger.
Placefirst has appointed Anna Hwang as assets and strategy director. She joins from Savills, where she was director of operational capital markets.
Graftongate has promoted Alex Thomason to director of industrial and logistics, with responsibility for new site acquisition. He joined the firm from Abrdn in 2018.
Scanlans has hired Neve Burnley as a property manager in its Leeds team. She has managed a diverse portfolio of more than 1,000 properties across 20 residential blocks, new-build estates and commercial buildings.
Shaun Pettitt has been named managing director at Wyatt Homes.
Freddie Woodworth has joined Avant Homes West Yorkshire as construction director from residential developer Vistry Partnerships.
Trafford Centre has appointed former Marks & Spencer head of region Simon Layton as its new centre director. He will lead the centre’s on-site management team across multiple functions.
Salboy has promoted Carmen Ching to the role of head of sales. Ching, who has been a senior director at the firm since 2020, will lead its international sales strategy.
Fiera Capital Corporation has appointed Klaus Schuster as executive director and chief executive for EMEA. He joins from PineBridge Investments, where he worked for nearly 22 years.
Amy Jones has joined Haslams Chartered Surveyors as a research assistant, supporting the property services team and undertaking property research.
Gateley’s residential development division has appointed Delphine Mehouas as a partner, along with Sarah Webb as legal director, Tracy Best as an associate, and Az Perwaz as a solicitor.
Bidwells has hired Charu Gupta as its new energy and sustainability lead. She will promote energy and carbon reduction across its science and technology, education, mixed-use and industrial projects.
Colliers has recruited Gideon Levene as a director in its project and building consultancy team. He joins from Claritas Group, where he was the regional director of operations in the North West.
EiA Real Estate has hired Mathew Jackson and Gavin Brent as senior team members specialising in prime luxury commercial real estate. They join from Montagu Evans and Avison Young.
Vivienne King has been appointed ambassador at Property X-Change, where she will be tasked with finding forward-thinking owners, asset managers and developers to join the initiative, which aims to rethink how high street properties can deliver social value.
Ben Marks has been named chief finance officer of GCP Europe. He joined the firm as group finance director in 2019. He takes over with immediate effect.
Kajima has promoted Anuja Kaira to finance director, Christine Philips to deputy finance director, and Tim James to investment director.
Tony Heming has joined Bruton Knowles’ national commercial team as a senior associate.
SHW has promoted Matthew Missenden and James Bryant to directors, Carlie Edgerton and Harry Beyer to associates, and Natalie Radcliffe to senior property manager.
