Fiera hires Schuster to drive EMEA expansion
Fiera Capital has appointed Klaus Schuster to run its EMEA business.
The asset management firm today announced that the former EMEA CEO and global head of wealth management distribution at PineBridge Investments would join as its executive director and CEO EMEA on 30 May.
Schuster has worked at London-based PineBridge for nearly 22 years.

The asset management firm today announced that the former EMEA CEO and global head of wealth management distribution at PineBridge Investments would join as its executive director and CEO EMEA on 30 May.

Fiera said the newly created role would help it to expand its presence in EMEA. Schuster will be responsible for driving the end-to-end market strategy and will directly lead the company’s distribution and marketing teams.
Chair and global CEO Jean-Guy Desjardins said Schuster was “a proven leader with an unrelenting focus on client success” and was “uniquely qualified to leverage Fiera’s capabilities in the region and drive organic growth”.
Schuster said he was “thrilled to be joining Fiera Capital, as I share their customer-centric focus, entrepreneurial values and commitment to broadening the Fiera Capital footprint in this strategic region”.
Montreal-based Fiera Capital has approximately C$164.7bn in assets under management.
Last month it launched an open-ended pan-European real estate debt fund, securing £100m in seed commitments.
The fund, which will invest across residential, logistics, grade-A offices, leisure assets and hotels, will focus initially on the UK market before expanding to select European jurisdictions.
