Arsenal scores as PBSA scheme is given go-ahead
Arsenal Football Club subsidiary Ashburton Trading has won planning permission for a 284-room student scheme next to the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The 12-storey scheme at 45 Hornsey Road, N7, has been designed by CZWG and muf architecture/art and will sit between the stadium and London Metropolitan University.
The plans include flexible commercial space at ground level of the building and 21 revitalised railway viaduct arches.

The student accommodation is a mix of studio rooms and cluster flats. Facilities include a common room, dining room, library, gym, dance studio, laundry and contemplation rooms.
The proposals were subject to extensive pre-application consultation with the London Borough of Islington, the GLA, Transport for London, Network Rail and London Metropolitan University.
CZWG also designed the Arsenal Masterplan around the stadium.
