People moves: Promotions at Alder King’s Bristol office

This week’s appointments and promotions Alder King has promoted Emma Smith (pictured, left) in the agency team to partner and Hugh Collins in the residential development and energy team to senior surveyor in the Bristol office. The Manchester office of Jones Hargreaves has hired Alan Wales (pictured, right) as a senior associate partner. He joins from Hollis where he was an associate. Patrizia has named Asoka Wöhrmann as chief executive designate, succeeding founder and chief executive Wolfgang Egger. Wöhrmann formerly worked for Deutsche Bank until 2022. Guy Harris has joined Hanover Green’s Investment team as a partner following eight years at JLL. BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Edward O’Brien as senior director in its healthcare and senior living team in London. He previously worked in the operational real estate group at CBRE. O’Brien will work alongside Samantha Rowland, head of healthcare and senior living, and Madeleine Hitchcox, who joins from Savills as associate director. Andrew Stanford has been named as head of residential capital markets at Deloitte. He joins from Colliers, where he was the head of build-to-rent. Stanford previously worked at LaSalle Investment Management and served as the head of the government’s private rented sector taskforce from 2013 to 2015. Katy Dowding, a member of Skanska UK’s executive management team, has been appointed president and CEO of Skanska UK. Savills has appointed Alexander Glavas as a director in cross-border retail. Glavas will advise retailers on locations and expansion strategies. Nicholas Hare has joined the healthcare and senior living team as an associate from SportsFi, where he was a director in the capital markets team. Robert Ciggaar has joined the Netherlands team as an associate director in residential and hotel investment. Global architecture practice HOK has named Eli Hoisington and Susan Klumpp Williams as its new co-chief executive officers. Sanderson Weatherall has appointed asset advisory and recovery team members Peter Loveday in London and Tim Simmons in Birmingham as shareholding partners. Knight Frank has appointed Ben Hill as a partner in its commercial property asset management team in Leeds. He joins from British Land, where he was a director and member of the retail property management senior leadership team. Argent and Related Argent has strengthened its team with the appointment of Jamie Quinn as sustainability director and Jack Sibley as head of proptech and innovation. Savills Earth has appointed Ioannis Protonotarios as an associate director in its sustainable design consultancy team. He was previously head of sustainability at Mendick Waring. Boodle Hatfield has promoted real estate lawyer David Rawlence to partner. Kyle Danton has been promoted to commercial director at Avant Homes, where he will work with the North Yorkshire senior management team to drive regional growth. He joined Avant Homes 17 years ago as a quantity surveyor. Sisk has appointed Kris Wadley as operations director for the Ox-Cam region. He has experience working in the life sciences, commercial, public and residential sectors. Howard Group has hired Jon Green as director of Unity Campus in Cambridgeshire. He will join the firm in June and will develop the campus and onboarding of phase-two buildings. Marc Barone has been appointed as chief operating officer at Buro Happold. He joins from AECOM. Harris Lamb has hired graduate surveyor Sam Kowalik to join its construction consultancy team. Housebuilder Redrow has appointed Sophie Fitzgerald as sales director for the South East region. She joins from Countryside. Oliver Leeming has been appointed national operations director for valuation at Lambert Smith Hampton. He joins from CBRE. Fraser Blackwood has been appointed as a director in JLL’s planning, energy and infrastructure team, based out of its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. He joined the firm in 2021. LCP has promoted retail managing director Ben Chislett to group chief operating officer to oversee the operational function across the business. Neil Woodward has joined as head of asset management for its London office. Lambert Smith Hampton has promoted the following people as directors: Rachel Bassett, Thomas Donnan, Paul Goodacre, David Hunter, Victoria James, Anthony Kerr, Alex McLaren, Lynn Robinson, Carla Watson and Jamie Whittle. Associate director appointments include Nina Blackie, Edward Boulton, Thomas Findlay, Isabelle Furter, Lucy Garner-Currie, Caroline Gotch, William Knox, Ashley Soraypour, Hannah Speechley, Nigel Sprack and Jonathan Tate. James Taylor has joined ESTAMA UK as an asset manager and will manage a mixed portfolio of commercial assets across the UK. He joins from Abellio Transport Holdings.
