Mission Street gets nod to deliver more labs and offices in Cambridge

Developer Mission Street and investor BentallGreenOak have secured planning permission to deliver 64,400 sq ft life sciences facility at the Press in Cambridge.

The scheme will see the construction of lab and office building, which could either be used as a headquarters or divided into six smaller workspaces. The work is due to start this summer, with completion scheduled in mid-2024.

The Press forms part of a wider 100,000 sq ft project set to transform a former 7.8-acre printing press site into a science and innovation campus. Phase one of the scheme is currently under construction and due to provide two fitted lab and office suites totalling 16,000 sq ft later this year.
