He will lead a national team of project, development and decarbonisation experts to deliver lasting value from built assets. Winter joins from Unispace, where he was managing director for Northern Europe.

Marrons, a multi-service development consultancy, has added planning director Tamsin Cottle, senior planner Sarah MacPherson and planning assistant Ben McCormack to its Nottingham team, where they will provide services such as securing planning permission for development and promoting greenfield and brownfield land to meet future housing and employment needs.
SHW has promoted Gemma Quinn to partner and head of the professional services team for its London and south London offices. Duncan Bannister has been promoted to residential property management partner and will oversee SHW’s private rented sector arm, which manages more than 500 properties.
Burges Salmon has appointed real estate finance specialists Rohan Campbell as a partner and Tom Farrell as director in its banking and finance teams.
Hanover Green has promoted Guy Milne to equity principal. He will jointly lead the firm’s central London agency department with fellow principal Nick Raven. Milne joined the firm in 2018 and has managed several significant landlord and occupier client instructions, including Grosvenor and the Howard de Walden Estate.
SevenHomes has promoted Paresh Laxhman to land director, Richard Hodson to head of planning and Jack Barnes to senior land manager.
Andy Stanton has been appointed as head of sustainability in the UK and Europe at Introba. He will be charged with overseeing Introba’s low-energy and decarbonisation offer for clients. Stanton was previously Transport for London’s director of sustainable buildings.
Bruce Gillingham Pollard has appointed Harry Cody-Owen as a director in its national leisure team. He has worked on high-profile deals for clients including Hammerson, Landsec, Abrdn, AEW and Legal & General.
Darling Associates Architects has appointed Alastair Roberts as managing director. He joined the business in 2018 and has been responsible for mixed-use urban masterplan projects, including the new Unilever HQ in Kingston upon Thames. Roberts succeeds Chris Darling, who set up the practice in 2003 and will become the new chair.
Sarah Atkinson has joined Addleshaw Goddard’s London real estate division as a partner. She joins from Greenberg Traurig and specialises in private equity-backed funding transactions, development finance and bond leaseback transactions.
Francis Ho has joined Charles Russell Speechlys as a partner in its construction and infrastructure group. He joins the firm’s London office from Penningtons Manches Cooper.
Law firm Matheson has promoted David Fitzgibbon and Darren Maher to co-heads, and Sally Anne Stone has been appointed as head of the commercial real estate group.
LSL Property Services has appointed former Aviva UK and Ireland Life chief executive David Barral as chair designate. He will serve on the board as an independent non-executive director and will also join the nominations and remuneration committees.
Irwin Mitchell has expanded its construction and engineering team with the appointment of partner Robert Tunningley in its Gatwick office. He joins from Teacher Stern.
