Bruntwood gets go-ahead for next phase of Alderley Park
Bruntwood SciTech has secured a go-ahead for two new buildings at Alderley Park in Cheshire.
The next phase of the science cluster development will see the construction of 200,000 sq ft of commercial space, the first new-builds to be delivered since Bruntwood SciTech acquired the site in 2014.
The scheme will comprise 100,000 sq ft of CL2 lab space and 100,000 sq ft of flexible office space, suitable for life sciences, technology and healthcare companies, particularly those working in drug discovery and development, medtech, diagnostics, digital health and AI.

The move follows the £247m investment in the park, consisting of the 150,000 sq ft tech hub, known as Glasshouse, 86,000 sq ft of new labs, and No. 11 Mereside, featuring 35,000 sq ft of workspace.
Kath Mackay, director of life sciences at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “Today’s outcome marks a huge milestone for the park and highlights our commitment to providing life sciences facilities to support science and technology businesses across the nation.”
