People moves: Savills expands shopping centre team

Savills’ property management team has hired Saagar Sachdev (pictured, left) as a director to support its shopping and retail park portfolio. He joins the firm from Workman. Hollis has appointed Scott Murray (pictured, right) as head of MEP projects. He will work closely with Hollis’ ESG consultancy and project management teams to integrate retrofit, environmental and social strategies into MEP projects. AFL Architects has appointed Martin Hill as a director responsible for healthcare and education. He has expertise in design and planning for new-build projects and the refurbishment of estates. Knight Frank has expanded its healthcare team with the appointment of Kodie Brook and Rory Addison as surveyors; Joe Brame as senior analyst; Sara Horton as senior agent; James McKelvie as partner; Andrew Sage as associate; and Megan Wright as business support coordinator. Chancerygate has appointed Helena Redding and Oliver Johnson as asset manager and assistant development manager respectively. Alex Houghton has joined the finance team as senior financial analyst and Randeep Sandhu has joined as HR manager. Lambert Smith Hampton has recruited urban designer and masterplanner Neil Sainsbury as an associate director. He joins from Milton Keynes Council where he was head of placemaking. James Singer has joined Lichfields as an associate director in its London office. He joins from Nexus Planning and is an appointed expert on the government’s High Streets Task Force. Boyer has promoted Karen Charles and Grant Leggett to executive directors in its Wokingham and London offices. Lawrence Turner in Bristol, Simon Barry in Cardiff and Michelle Quan in Wokingham have been made directors. Jess Bain has joined as an associate director in the London office. Valesco has appointed Ross McCaskill as chief financial officer. He will be responsible for heading up the group’s finance strategy. Andrew Robinson has joined Lee Baron as its new estates’ director for Greenwich Peninsula. He joins from Knight Dragon. Robinson will oversee the property management services to the lower and upper riverside districts. Unite Students has appointed Tom Brewerton as group development director to lead its property development team. He joined the business in 2015. Claire Barber has joined as asset management director, having previously worked at Cadogan. John Sisk & Son has appointed Nadeem Chaudhry as health sector lead and Imran Patel as project director in UK healthcare. Tom Robinson has joined housing association Vivid as executive director of assets and sustainability. He has more than 30 years of property and construction experience. Bradford Estates has appointed Clare Amey as residential manager and Andrew Barrett as asset management director. Property director Steve Farrow takes up the role of rural director. Crest Nicholson has recruited Andrew Sanderson as build director and Paul Thornton as head of land and planning. Guy Evans has been made managing director. Savills has expanded its central London commercial development team with the appointment of Chloe Newton as an associate director from Allsop. She will focus on both the acquisition and disposal of commercial property investments and development opportunities. Muse has recruited Ella Woodward from Nikal and Julian Stott from Manchester Airport Group as development manager and development director, respectively.
