JLL names new head of West End office agency

JLL has appointed Paul Grindal as its new head of West End office agency, with postholder Chris Valentine moving to focus fully on his role as head of central London office agency. Valentine has led the team for the past four years. He was appointed to the central London office agency job in 2021. Grindal joined JLL in 2011, having previously worked at King Sturge in its West End agency team. He has undertaken high-profile transactions in the West End for clients including BentallGreenOak, Stanhope, Mitsui, Ballymore, Kennedy Wilson and Sellar. Most recently, he led the team that completed the preletting of Sellar and Great Western Developments’ Paddington Square, W2. Valentine said: “Paul is the natural choice to take the lead of JLL’s West End agency team. He is an established and well-respected figure within both the team and wider market.
