The redevelopment includes 50% affordable homes, 75% of which will be offered for social rent and 25% for shared ownership. It also includes 43,000 sq ft of open space and 35,000 sq ft of play space.
Phase 2B has been designed by lead architect Maccreanor Lavington alongside plot architects Haworth Tompkins, Sergison Bates, East and Architecture Doing Place.
Separately, the planning committee is also set to approve Native Land’s proposals for an 18-storey office and retail building at its Bankside Yards development, SE1, in the same meeting.
