Manchester’s metro mayor has said his Atom Valley regeneration plan holds the key to levelling up the North of England.
The creation of the mayoral development zone was approved by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority in August last year.
It lays out plans for more than 17m sq ft of commercial development, along with 7,000 new homes, strung between Bury, Rochdale and Oldham.
