Food for thought as annual charity campaign begins 

Homeless charity StreetSmart has launched its annual campaign to raise funds and awareness of the UK’s vulnerable people who have nowhere to call home as Christmas approaches.

In association with LandAid, the project asks diners at participating restaurants to add a £1 donation to their bills during November and December. All the money raised will go towards supporting homelessness projects in local areas.

StreetSmart was founded in 1998 and to date has raised more than £10.3m to help people out of homelessness.
