Coyote Ugly to head to London’s Trocadero

The Coyote Ugly Saloon chain, made famous through the 2000 movie, is set to open its second London bar in the Trocadero, W1.

Westminster City Council is recommended to sign off on the company’s change of use application for part of the Criterion Capital-owned Shaftesbury Avenue block. The bar will take over space that was formerly the entrance to a Cineworld cinema and two stores.

The 6,000 sq ft bar and restaurant, with a 350-person capacity, will host music and live acts every evening between 5pm and 3am. The bar will be the company’s second in the capital after it opened in Camden.
