ATG’s property director heads to ASM Global
ATG property director James Bradshaw is leaving the theatre to take up a new role as ASM Global’s real estate development director.
Bradshaw will be working on projects across ASM’s 350-venue global portfolio, starting with its £60m refurbishment of the AO Arena in Manchester.
He joined Ambassador’s Theatre Group, the world’s largest theatre owner, in July last year, taking over responsibility for its near-2m sq ft portfolio.

He joined Ambassador’s Theatre Group, the world’s largest theatre owner, in July last year, taking over responsibility for its near-2m sq ft portfolio.
In an interview with EG last December, he described working on projects in active theatres as “a bit like building a ship in a bottle while doing a Rubik’s Cube. But it’s fun.”
The move to ASM is, in fact, a return for Bradshaw. His previous roles include working as a real estate development project director for AEG – ASM’s parent company – and at the O2.
Bradshaw said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working for ATG, and since joining we’ve gone from the longest period of enforced closure in theatre history, with no venues open and a skeleton team, to opening back all venues including brand new, music-led venues in Swansea and Stockton.”
He will be succeeded by Nicole Das Neves, who joins as ATG property director on 10 October.
