Lendlease appoints new MD of investment management

Lendlease has appointed Fabien Toscano as its new managing director of investment management in Europe. Toscano brings nearly 20 years of experience in investment to the role. He previously worked for Qatari Diar, holding a number of roles in the US, UK and Qatar. Most recently he was chief executive of its Americas business. In his new role at Lendlease, Toscana will oversee its European investment management platform, which incorporates the company’s own development projects and wider market opportunities. Neil Martin, Lendlease Europe chief executive, said: “Fabien brings a wealth of knowledge to the role and has a track record of delivering outstanding results. Our group has targeted having funds under management of A$70bn by FY26 and hiring Fabien is very much part of that plan. I look forward to him becoming an integral part of our business.” Toscano added: “The opportunity to work for a leading international real estate and investment group with a comprehensive business platform is a rare opportunity.
