WiredScore has moved to a new UK headquarters in Shoreditch, E2, to facilitate expansion of its team.
The company behind WiredScore and SmartScore property certifications has taken 7,700 sq ft of space at Derwent London’s Tea Building on Shoreditch High Street, which will become home to 80 employees.
Tom McClellan, country director of UK & Ireland and growth markets at WiredScore, said: “This latest office move will allow us not only to house our growing team, but also firmly establish ourselves in a space which enables us to work productively and collaboratively with each other.
“We are also proud to be working in a building that was one of the first office buildings in London to be WiredScore ‘Gold’ certified, so this move carries sentimental value as well as a practical one.”
Other tenants at Tea Building, which was formerly a warehouse, include Mother, Wise and Soho House.
The news follows WiredScore’s recent series B fundraise, which saw the company raise a total of $15m. The funding was led by Beringea, with strategic investment from Cushman & Wakefield and Fifth Wall among others.
Cushman & Wakefield represented WiredScore on the HQ deal.
