Eutopia Homes plans £70m Network Rail depot redev

Eutopia Homes has submitted a planning application for a £70m residential-led regeneration of a former Network Rail depot in Gloucester, to provide 315 homes.

The housebuilder plans to provide 228 apartments and 87 townhouses to replace the disused former railway depot near the Royal Gloucestershire Hospital. Eutopia acquired the eight-acre brownfield site in 2021.

Eutopia Homes estimates the development will create almost 500 direct and indirect jobs annually during the construction phase, and a further £10m will be added to the local economy each year once built.
