Plans lodged for Liverpool’s Hemisphere building
Proposals have been submitted to develop Liverpool’s first net-zero carbon building, Hemisphere.
The eight-storey scheme will be delivered by Sciontec Developments, a joint venture between the council, the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, and Bruntwood SciTech.
The plans include the development of the 120,000 sq ft of flexible grade-A office space, collaboration spaces, a wellness studio, café, and extensive new areas of public realm.

If approved, construction will begin onsite in summer 2023, and will complete by summer 2025.
