Avant Homes plans £47m Derbyshire development
Avant Homes plans to deliver a £47.4m development of 200 homes in Somercotes, Derbyshire.
The housebuilder acquired the 20-acre site on Birchwood Road, close to Alfreton town centre, in April this year.
It is seeking planning approval for a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, 30% of which will be affordable.

In addition to the houses, Avant will invest £875,000 in local secondary and post-16 education, public transport, open green spaces and grass-roots sports.
