Get back to the office, Elon Musk tells Tesla staff

Tesla boss Elon Musk has again criticised employees who are working from home, sending them automated demands to explain why they are not in the office. The Telegraph has reported that staff are receiving e-mails telling them that their presence in the company’s offices is being logged. The message says: “You are receiving this e-mail because there is no record of you using your badge to enter a Tesla facility on at least 16 days over the 30-day period ending on June 28. As a reminder, all employees are expected to be back in the office, full-time.” Staff must then send an explanation of their absence to their line manager. Musk has recently said Tesla staff should quit unless they are willing to work in the office for a minimum of 40 hour a week. The Telegraph (£)
