Pradera Lateral hires Landsec senior portfolio director

Fund and asset manager Pradera Lateral has appointed former Landsec senior portfolio director Russell Loveland as its new director of UK asset management. During his time at Landsec, Loveland oversaw the REIT’s shopping centre and parks portfolio.  Loveland joined Landsec as portfolio director in 2014 from Lendlease, where he was responsible for the asset management of Bluewater as a senior asset manager. Loveland has also held roles at Uniqlo and now-collapsed Arcadia Group. Rhys Evans, managing director of asset management at Pradera Lateral, said Loveland joins the business as it continues to expand its UK portfolio. He added that Loveland’s “depth of experience will further bolster our presence in the UK market”. Loveland said he will be “working with a dynamic team as we deliver further change to premium shopping and leisure destinations”. Pradera Lateral is headquartered in London with a second office in Manchester. It took over management of Manchester’s Trafford Centre last year.
