Bedford Estates shakes up Bloomsbury agency line-up
The Bedford Estates has switched up the commercial leasing agency line-up for its 30-acre Bloomsbury portfolio.
The estate owns some 200 properties in Bloomsbury, including 825,000 sq ft of offices, 100,000 sq ft of retail space, 1,000 hotel bedrooms and 550 homes.
It has now appointed Compton alongside Edward Charles & Partners, with the former replacing CBRE.

Simon Elmer, steward of the Bedford Estates, described Bloomsbury as a place “where culture, academia, science and technology meet”, adding that Compton will “help us promote the area as a place where, whether you live, work or study here, you can feel at home”.
Office space currently being marketed or under offer across the portfolio includes 22 Bedford Square, 23 Bedford Square, 3 Gower Street and 11 Gower Street.
