Guildford wins Supermassive deal
Supermassive Games, an independent video game developer, has signed a lease for 17,382 sq ft of office space across the ground and second floors of 65 Woodbridge Road, Guildford.
The deal, completed on behalf of Mayfair Capital’s Property Income Trust for Charities, represents one of the largest office lettings in the Surrey town so far this year.
The BAFTA-winning game developer, which is behind some of the industry’s most successful titles including Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, is currently based at 1 Farnham Road in Guildford.

Operations director Jonathan Amor said: “Supermassive Games is growing fast, and we’re delighted to secure this office as part of our continued and exciting expansion plans in Guildford.”
Often referred to as the “Hollywood of video games”, Guildford is recognised as a world leader in games development and is home to a number of games studios.
Scott Fawcett, director of asset management at Mayfair Capital Investment Management, said: “We are seeing good demand for our offices especially in dynamic, thematic locations such as Guildford, and for those buildings finished to a high specification and with strong underlying fundamentals.”
Paul Dawson, Lambert Smith Hampton’s head of office, Guildford, who advised on the letting with JLL, said: “Guildford is a hub for video games development and this letting to Supermassive Games further demonstrates the growth of this sector in the town.”
Bureau and HK London acted for Supermassive Games on the deal.
