Waterman to open new office at Manchester’s Trinity

Waterman Group has signed a 10-year lease at Helical’s Manchester office scheme Trinity. The engineering and environmental company will occupy 4,068 sq ft of workspace at a rent of £34 per sq ft. Trinity, located on John Dalton Street, was refurbished in 2019 and now offers a total of 58,678 sq ft of prime office and retail space. Current Trinity occupiers include AEW Architects, law firm Kennedys and accountancy practice Saffery Champness. Helical was represented jointly by Savills and Edwards & Co, while Matthews & Goodman acted for Waterman. Daniel Barnes, director in the office agency team at Savills, said: “The office market has seen an uptick in activity since the start of the year. Occupiers are generally focusing on better-quality workspace to welcome their staff back into the office.
