Following the government’s ambition to create 20 new redevelopment projects similar in scale to King’s Cross, Freeman said in his acceptance speech that he is now “speed dating” his way across the country hunting for potential sites.
Loftus, formerly head of the UK at Resolution Property, was praised for building General Projects since its launch in 2016. Loftus told the ULI audience he has been inspired by “innovative, creative developers” including Resolution and Argent.
“We’re lucky enough to sit around tables every single day of the week with amazing architects, designers, artists, engineers, who are all working with us to create unbelievable things,” he added.
