Elon Musk makes $25m from owning ‘no house’

Elon Musk has sold seven homes in California for $128m in his effort to “own no house”.

The sale of the properties – which include mansions in Bel Air, one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Los Angeles – are thought to have made the Tesla and SpaceX boss a profit of about $25m.

Musk, who promised to get rid of his properties on Twitter in May 2020, has downsized from a collection of mansions to a rented starter home in Texas.
