Russia has been hit with sanctions over developments in Ukraine.
US president Joe Biden announced a wave of sanctions over what he called Russia’s “invasion”, including measures aimed at Russian banks VEB and Promsvyazbank, as well as the country’s access to the sovereign debt market.
In the UK, sanctions were imposed against five banks as well as a number of oligarchs.
