Chief executive Paul Sargent said: “Queensberry is in full growth mode and we are increasing our experience and knowledge base to accompany our increasing number of projects.
“We’ve recently been appointed on interesting projects in the north of England, including the Cultural Heart, Huddersfield, Station Gateway, Doncaster and Freshney Place, Grimsby.
“I have known Nalin as a client since 2016 and always enjoyed working with him. When the opportunity arose to bring him into the company it was a no-brainer. We needed to strengthen the team and given Nalin’s expertise and experience in property and construction with both the public and private sectors, he’ll make a great addition to the team.”
Seneviratne added: “I’ve been working with Paul and the team for a number of years. Queensberry have always been very entrepreneurial in their approach to development management, bringing in a fresh and strategic viewpoint each time. I can bring a lot to the table in terms of public sector knowledge and I’m really looking forward to working on Queensberry’s key projects. “
Prior to Sheffield City Council, Sereviratne held high-profile roles at Mowlem, Midas Construction and Plymouth City Council.
