The number of desks available will triple as part of a phase two opening later this year. It will also have an outdoor terrace.
Clockwise said it had seen demand for workspace rocket by more than 200% since January 2020. It has six sites in the south of England, as well as hubs in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The company will also open a site in Brussels – its first European location – this month.
Chief operating officer Alexandra Brunner said: “Southampton is home to a thriving community of entrepreneurs, start-ups and growing businesses, so it was a natural decision for us to have a presence there at such an exciting time as we expand our southern business hub.”
