St James chair Sean Ellis to leave Berkeley
Sean Ellis will be leaving Berkeley Group in 2022.
The developer said that the executive director, who has been with Berkeley since 2004 and joined the board in 2010, will be leaving in 12 months’ time “to pursue other interests”.
He will step down from the board with immediate effect.

Ellis is currently is chairman of the St James arm of the business, as well as Berkeley Homes Eastern Counties and the St William joint venture with National Grid.
Berkeley chair Glyn Barker said: “I would like to thank Sean for his loyal service and significant contribution to Berkeley over the last 17 years, and as a main board director since 2010, and, on behalf of the board, I wish him every success and happiness in the future.”
Ellis added: “It has been my pleasure to be part of the Berkeley board for the last 11 years and I wish the group continued success into the future.”
