Council buys Burnley shopping centre

Burnley Council has acquired Charter Walk Shopping Centre from Tristan Capital and Addington Capital, for £20.7m.

The vendors previously instructed Savills to sell the 280,000 sq ft centre and neighbouring asset Curzon Square for more than £25.6m. 

Charter Walk’s tenants include Boots, Wilko, Home Bargains and JD Sports. The complex also includes a below-ground car park.
