Joint venture starts last leg of Green Man Lane Estate regen
Developer Real and housing association A2Dominion are starting the final phase of development at Ealing’s Green Man Estate, W13, with plans for 400 new homes.

The company has taken Rydon’s role in the joint venture with Ealing Council. The £165m estate regeneration aims to replace 464 homes at the Green Man Lane Estate. The jv has already delivered 540 homes since 2014 in phases one to three.

The company has taken Rydon’s role in the joint venture with Ealing Council. The £165m estate regeneration aims to replace 464 homes at the Green Man Lane Estate. The jv has already delivered 540 homes since 2014 in phases one to three.
The partners have now lodged an environmental impact assessment request for screening with Ealing Council to begin on phases four and 6B. Plans would see a further 400 homes, of which half will be affordable. Blocks of six to 16 storeys will provide a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes.
The final site is located at the eastern part of the Green Man Lane Estate in West Ealing. It holds several 1970s residential blocks, a church and a public and private car park.
Real recently appointed Workspace’s former head of finance Viv Frankam as chief financial officer to lead the company and secure funding to deliver its pipeline.
Earlier this month, A2Dominion reported a slump in its annual surplus, dropping by 74% to £6.4m, a loss of £20m against anticipated levels. The housing association delivered 754 homes, 72% of its target, and secured £303.3m in revenue, down 5%.
