The G15 represents the largest providers of affordable housing in the capital, bringing together L&Q, Notting Hill Genesis and Hyde. These firms own or manage more than 600,000 homes and are set to deliver 120,000 homes across London and the South East over the next five years.
Nanda was vice chair for the G15 for the past year, with Network Homes chief executive Helen Evans as chair. One Housing chief executive Richard Hill is the new vice chair.
Nanda said: “From making sure the communities we are part of are supported to recover from the pandemic to delivering more new homes, and addressing the twin challenges of the building safety crisis and the climate emergency – there is a great deal to be getting stuck into.
“I hope to use my time as chair to work with colleagues across the G15’s members to take advantage of the great opportunities we have to work together and to learn from each other to continuously improve the services and support we offer our residents, and to be dynamic and diverse organisations that come up with solutions.”
