Developer plans 40-storey Nottingham student scheme

Code Students is working up plans for a 1,546-bedroom development in Nottingham to include the city’s tallest tower. The student developer has lodged pre-application plans from Staniforth Architects for a scheme rising to 40 storeys. Victoria Works on Cairns Street is located close to intu Victoria Centre and the city council’s depot site. The ambitious plans are part of expansion by Code Students across the regions. The developer is seeking to deliver a £100m co-living scheme in Sheffield comprising 1,370 private studios in towers of up to 36 storeys, also working with Staniforth Architects.
